COLLECTIONS: Through the generosity of some of our citizens we have been able to acquire photographs, artwork, books, records, artifacts, maps and memorabilia pertaining to the Thunderbolt area.

TOWN RECORDS:  We are in the process of scanning and/or transcribing town minutes, some dating back to 1898. In addition we are digitizing old voters lists, and old town docket books.

ORAL HISTORIES: We have a number of Oral/Video Histories. We would like to encourage more people to donate their time to this endeavor. If you are interested in helping us with this please call the Museum and leave a message and we will get in touch with you. Bring a friend and reminisce about growing up in Thunderbolt.

THUNDERBOLT ORGANIZATIONS: We are gifted with a large scrapbook of the Thunderbolt Community Improvement Association. Also, the family of Virgie Elkins has giving us a scrapbook of the Thunderbolt Garden Club. If anyone has any Thunderbolt Organizations (e.g. Fire Auxillary, Men’s Club, Garden Club, Library Board, Community Improvement Associations) stored away in the attic and don’t know what to do with them. We would love to have them to preserve and share with the entire community.
